Potter VSR-F-EX-2 2-Inch Explosion Proof Flow Switch is a vane-type waterflow alarm switch designed for wet sprinkler systems installed in hazardous locations, with sectional detection capability for larger systems. Its dual SPDT contacts, adjustable pneumatic retard, 450 PSI service pressure, and rugged NEMA 4/IP66 enclosure provide dependable monitoring for demanding fire protection installations.

• Explosion-Proof Waterflow Detection — Designed for hazardous wet sprinkler applications and classified for Class I Groups C and D, Class II Groups E, F and G, and Class III Division 1 locations, with ATEX protection ratings of II 2 G Ex d II B T6 and II 2 D Ex tD A21 IP66 T85C.
• Reliable Flow Activation — Detects water movement at a minimum flow of 10 GPM (38 LPM), with an adjustable 0 to 90 second instantly recycling pneumatic retard to help prevent false alarms caused by transient flow conditions.
• Dual SPDT Contacts — Provides two single-pole double-throw Form C switches rated up to 15A at 125/250VAC and 2A at 30VDC resistive, supporting separate local and remote alarm signaling.
• Rugged Outdoor-Ready Construction — Features a cast aluminum housing with factory-installed gasket, NEMA 4/IP66 protection, non-corrosive saddle bushing, and operation from 40°F to 120°F for indoor or outdoor installations.
• 2-Inch Pipe Installation — Designed for 2-inch DN50 pipe with two 1/2-inch NPT threaded conduit entrances, a 1.25-inch ±0.062-inch mounting hole, and up to 450 PSI (31 BAR) service pressure; assembled in the USA.
